Learn A Bit More About Dr.Lindsay Moses, DPT | HER Body PT

My name is Dr. Lindsay Moses and I am a wife and mother of 2 kiddos.  I am originally from New York but have spent time living in the Midwest and eventually made my way down to North Carolina in 2014.  

I have been a practicing physical therapist since 2005 when I earned my Doctorate from Northwestern University in Chicago.  I have spent half my career working in the world of Orthopedics and the second half of my career, to date, practicing Pelvic Health.  

My first exposure to the world of Pelvic Health was actually as a patient, following the birth of my first child.  I truly believe that having had first hand experience, as a patient, has allowed me to connect with my patients in a way, I might not have otherwise been able to. 

Over the past several years, I have furthered my education by taking a variety of courses, focused on pelvic health.  In 2022, I became a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.  

There are so many stigmas, in our culture, regarding issues such as incontinence and sexual dysfunction (to name a few).  I love that I am in a position to be able to openly discuss these topics with patients and help them realize that although these issues are common, they are not normal, and warrant attention.  I want women to have a safe space to open up about these issues and get the help they deserve.  

I have worked with hundreds of women over the years, and can appreciate there can be many obstacles to receiving therapy treatment such as work responsibilities and child care.  This is why I have decided to make HER Body PT a mobile service.  I want PT to be accessible to all women.

In my free time, you will find me and my family exploring new hiking trails, planning our next vacation or training for races.  I love to read, watch trashy reality television (all about Bravo), experiment with new recipes (often unsuccessfully) and try new restaurants in our blossoming area.
