Many women assume that bladder leaking, pelvic pain and postpartum issues like diastasis recti are something they just have to live with. The reality is, there symptoms are common but NOT NORMAL, and you don't have to navigate that on your own.
Pelvic floor physical therapy can help treat a wide range of issues, whether you are newly postpartum, pregnant or dealing with the issues for many years.
A few signs that might indicate the need for treatment include: leaking urine when you cough or sneeze, pelvic pain in your hips/tailbone/low back/lower abdomen, pain with sex, pregnant or newly postpartum, you feel pressure or heaviness in your pelvic region or you experience constipation.
If ANY of these symtoms are affecting your quality of life, even a little bit, they deserve attention. Often, the earlier these issues are identified, the easier they are to manage. You deserve to feel confident, stronger and more comfortable in your body.
